  1. Casablanca is an excellent starting point for seeing Morocco because of its advantageous position and well-connected transportation system. The Sahara Desert, famous cities, and beach getaways are all conveniently accessible from Casablanca, whether you're flying in from overseas or visiting the country. Important landmarks like the bustling Corniche neighborhood, which provides breathtaking views of the ocean, and the Hassan II Mosque, a masterwork of contemporary Islamic architecture, are also located there (Touring Morocco Agency).
